My Design Journey…
From a hobby to a career!

Ever since I was young, I had a real interest in combining creativity with technology. Whether it's videos, graphic design or photography, I’ve always been trying to tell stories through visual communication.

Although it started as just a hobby, I cultivated my design and arts skills in school through volunteering and classwork. When my yearbook design won the competition voted on schoolwide - I knew I had a knack for graphic design, and pursued it further in post-secondary education.

Going to the York University/Sheridan College graphic design program was an invaluable experience. I learned how to think more conceptually, critically, and collaboratively. I also learned how important feedback and iteration is to the design process.

My professional work experiences at CulturaliQ, Dream and IKO/HSS have brought new knowledge and experiences that have fulfilled me immensely. I look forward to my next opportunity where I can apply myself to new challenges and learn more.

My Objectives
Make a Difference with Design

I love design because it allows me to create change. I gain a lot of satisfaction by solving real problems through design, and it always puts a smile on my face when I know that I made someone’s life a little bit easier with something I created.

My Interests
Jack(son) of all Trades

My personal philosophy is all about balance. I express that through a mix of creative, physical and technical hobbies. I express my personal creativity through photography and music. I stay physically active through gym routines and hockey and I like to sharpen my mind from learning about history and science.
